Become a Rising Star

Boca Ice Rising Stars is designed for skaters who have completed the Basic Skills levels and are ready to take the next step into figure skating.

Skaters will focus on developing stronger technique, improving edge control, learning new elements, and continuing to build confidence on the ice.

With supportive coaches and a team-like atmosphere, Rising Stars serves as a bridge between Learn to Skate and more advanced figure skating opportunities.

Skills We Focus On

⛸ Edge Control

Develop stronger edges, balance, turns, and overall skating quality through focused drills and instruction.

⭐ Jumps

Learn and improve fundamental figure skating jumps using proper technique and skill progression.

🌀 Spins

Build stronger spins, body position, balance, and control while learning new variations.

Weekly Program

Classes are held every Friday from 5:00pm–6:00pm and include both dedicated freestyle practice and structured on-ice instruction.

⛸ Freestyle Practice

5:00pm–5:30pm

Skaters receive 30 minutes of freestyle ice to practice their skills, build independence, and apply what they have learned.

Coaches are available to supervise as skaters work on edge control, jumps, spins, and overall skating technique.

⭐ On-Ice Instruction

5:30pm–6:00pm

Skaters receive 30 minutes of structured instruction in a supportive group environment.

Classes are divided into Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced levels so each skater can continue progressing at the appropriate pace.

Monthly Program

Monthly Tuition $150 Includes 4 classes

What’s Included

30 minutes of freestyle practice
30 minutes of on-ice instruction
Level-based coaching
Instruction focused on edge work, jumps, and spins

Pricing will be adjusted for months with more or fewer than four Fridays.

Before You Register

🏅 Membership

A current Learn to Skate USA or The Skating Club of Boca membership is required.

Memberships renew annually on June 30.

⭐ Skill Level

Skaters must have successfully passed Basic 6 before participating in Rising Stars.

⛸ Equipment

All participants must have their own figure skates.

Every Rising Stars participant must have a completed Boca Ice waiver before taking the ice.

Rising Stars is offered on Fridays from 5:00pm–6:00pm. Monthly tuition is based on the number of classes offered that month.
