Required Before You Play
Every Learn to Play participant must have a current USA Hockey membership and a completed Boca Ice waiver before taking the ice.
Get a USA Hockey Membership
Register your child with USA Hockey and save the membership confirmation number. You will need this number when completing Learn to Play registration.

What level is required?
Players must be Snowplow 4 or Basic 2 Learn to Skate level or higher.
Do I need full equipment?
Yes. Full hockey equipment and a neck guard are mandatory.
Can beginners join?
Yes, provided they meet the skating requirement.
Do I need a USA Hockey membership?
Yes. Every player must have a current USA Hockey membership number before registering. Register with USA Hockey here.
Is a Boca Ice waiver required?
Yes. A parent or legal guardian must complete the Boca Ice waiver before the player participates. Log in and sign the waiver here.
Can I be prorated for days missed?
Yes, but prorations must occur at registration. 5 out of 8 classes are required to be paid for. Call the front office to assist you in prorations.
What happens after Learn to Play?
Players can continue into House League, the Barracudas, and other youth hockey programs.
