Program Information
📅 8-Week Session
Choose one class day per week for the duration of the session.
💲 Tuition
$240 per skater for the full 8-week session.
⛸ Class Format
Each class is 40 minutes, including 30 minutes of instruction followed by 10 minutes of supervised practice time.
👟 Skate Rental
Skate rental is included with every Learn to Skate class.
📆 Makeup Classes
One makeup class is permitted per session and must be approved in advance by our Figure Skating Director. Email lisa@bocaice.com.
➗ Prorated Registration
Prorated registrations are available at the time of registration only. A minimum of 5 of the 8 classes must be purchased. Please call the front desk for assistance. No refunds are given for missed classes after registration.
🏅 USA Learn to Skate Membership
A current USA Learn to Skate USA membership is required. The annual fee is $25 and is expires every June 30.
🎟 Public Skating Passes
Each participant receives four complimentary public skating passes that expire at the end of the session.
Reminders!
Please arrive 20 minutes early to check in with the front office. Snowplow and Basic 1 students, please bring your helmet. Gloves and jackets are reccommended.
Required Before Class
Every Learn to Skate participant must have a completed Boca Ice waiver before stepping onto the ice.

Do I need my own skates?
Rental skates are available, but we recommend purchasing your own skates as you progress.
What should I wear?
All snowplow participants are requiered to wear a helmet. Basic 1 is highly reccomended to wear a helmet. Warm clothing, gloves, long pants and socks are recommended for all.
Are there makeup classes?
Yes, 1 makeup is allowed per session. Makeup classes MUST be scheduled in advanced by emailing our Figure Skating Director, Lisa at lisa@bocaice.com.
Can I do a trial class?
No, if a skater is unsure if they would like to take classes, we suggest coming to a public skate session first.
Do I need to complete a Boca Ice waiver?
Yes. Every participant must have a completed Boca Ice waiver before attending their first Learn to Skate class. Complete the waiver here.
Can adults learn to skate?
Absolutely. Our adult classes welcome beginner through advanced skaters.
