Required Before You Play
Every Adult Learn to Play participant must have a current USA Hockey membership and a completed Boca Ice waiver before taking the ice.

Register with USA Hockey and save your membership confirmation number. You will need this number when completing Adult Learn to Play registration.

Do I need previous hockey experience?
No. Adult Learn to Play is designed for adults who are new to hockey or still developing their foundational skills.
Do I need to know how to skate?
Basic skating ability is helpful. Adults who are completely new to skating may benefit from Adult Learn to Skate before or alongside this program.
Is full hockey equipment required?
Yes. Full hockey equipment, including a helmet with cage and neck guard, is required.
Is a USA Hockey membership required?
Yes. Every player must have a current USA Hockey membership number before registering. Register with USA Hockey here.
Is a Boca Ice waiver required?
Yes. Every participant must complete the Boca Ice waiver before taking the ice. Log in and sign the waiver here.
What happens after Adult Learn to Play?
Players may continue practicing through Open Hockey and Stick & Puck and progress into the Boca Ice Adult Hockey League when ready.
Are makeup classes available?
Review the current session policies during registration for information about missed classes, credits, refunds, and prorations.
